Gorj - The Company…

Established in 2015, Gorj has been an ever growing business, proud to be independent and female owned, the company ethos is centered around the quality of service our clients get and the way they feel.

Everyone that is a part of our business is carefully selected based on their attitude and experience towards the craft of Threading and beauty services.

We have won multiple awards in the past and always thrive to make our business bigger and better…..8 years later….We are now a part of the Bluewater chocolate box selection of businesses, delicately placed amongst some very prestigious brands, you’ll find us in the Upper Guildhall, nestled between our neighbours that include: Zara’s Europe flagship store, Mango, Apple, L’occitane, Nespresso, Dyson, Bremont, Jo Malone, Urban Outfitters and more.

Our business at Bluewater is a boutique salon, with a small number of hand selected services, we have a premium eyebrow bar where you can comfortably receive brow/lash treatments. Our beauty room is both calm and dramatic as we have taken the ambience and placed it center stage, through the use of sound and light we have played on the art of cymatics which we incorporate into our facial treatments, our beauty room also offers full body waxing, the only place in Bluewater to do so!

Our humble beginnings are in a town called Strood, not far from Bluewater, we also have had sister companies along the years and currently we have a wholesale business, an upcoming training academy, trademarked and patented goods, a product line and we are looking to grow our business even further into the big smoke.

We are a group of highly experienced threading artists, with a great eye for detail and a smile to match. We are open 7 days a week and work around your schedule to make sure we can offer you our services at your convenience.

  • You can pop in for any brow or lash service as a walk in but we also offer slots that you can book in advance to help if you have a busy schedule.

  • We formulate our facial routines in-house and combine various products and techniques when delivering our Gorj Signature Facials. We always state what type of skin each facial is suitable for, we do not use invasive or harsh formulas and so most facials are suited to most skin types, with just a few exceptions.   • As long as a grain of rice!

  • If you are having any of the following treatments you need a Patch Test 48 hours prior to treatment;

    -Tint (Brows or Lashes)

    -Lash Lift

    -Express Lashes

    -Brow Lamination

    -Henna Brows

    -Brow Lightening

    You will need to pop into the store for patch testing, during your visit you will sign a digital disclaimer.

  • Any person under the age of 18 wanting any services at the salon needs to have an accompanying adult with them.

    Threading and tinting is suitable for 12 years and over

    Body waxing and facials are suitable for over 18’s
