Aftercare Advice

Lash Lift and Tint + Brow Lamination Aftercare

  • Be gentle with your lashes/brows; no rubbing.

  • Do not get your lashes/brows wet for the first 24 hrs.

  • Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes/brows.

  • Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the lift/lamination.

  • No eye/brow make up for 24 hours.

  • Avoid waterproof mascara's and brow make up products.

  • Avoid Moisture, excess steam and water for the first 24 hours.

  • For the first 24 hours after the treatment your lashes/brows are still quite delicate and malleable. Ensuring that you are not exposing your lashes/brows to excess steam or moisture will prevent the lash lift from dropping.

  • Do not rub or play with your lashes/brows.

  • It can be incredibly tempting to touch, play and admire your beautiful new lashes/brows, we get it. However, try not to rub or play with your new lusciously lifted gems . Natural oils from your hands and skin can alter the structure of the lash lift/brow lamination and if you are playing with the lashes/brow hairs they may fall out prematurely.

  • Do not use shampoos, conditioners, makeups, creams, eye serums or oils on the lashes/brows or around the eye for first 24 hours

Using any of these products can encourage the colour of the lash tint to weaken or the lash lift/brow lamination to relax.

  • Avoid using strong (eye) makeup remover for 48 hours. This too may cause the lash lift/brow lamination to drop.

  • Try sleeping on your back for the first night to avoid lashes dropping on the outer corner.

  • As mentioned, the lashes/brows are still quite delicate and malleable for the first 24 hours, try not sleeping face down and avoid wearing an eye pillow/mask the evening of your eyelash lift/brow lamination.

  • Use aftercare vial if lashes/brows feel rough or tought only after 1 week of the treatment onwards.

Henna Brows

Waxing

Do’s

  • Exfoliate the skin at least 2-3 times a week. Dry brushing or rubbing on dry waxed skin (pre shower not in the shower) is essential. Start 3 days after your wax. Brush vigorously to remove the unwanted dry skin cells on the surface of your skin that can create blockages in the top of the follicle. This will prevent hair from growing into the skin.

  • Moisturise everyday.

Don’ts

  • Exercise for at least 48 hours after your waxing treatment. Sweat is a breeding ground for bacteria!

  • No sun/sun bed exposure over the waxed area for at least 48 hours; it will burn severely.

  • Do not touch the area with fingers for at least 48 hours afterwards to avoid cross infection.

  • Do not apply perfume or perfumed products to the treated area within 48 hours

  • Do not apply any other exfoliating skincare products for 72 hours after facial

  • Cleanse, tone and moisturise twice a day

  • Use the correct skincare products for your skin type

  • Use a gentle eye-makeup remover to remove mascara, eye shadow etc

  • Always remove makeup before going to bed

  • Do not use soap to wash your face, as it will dehydrate the skin

  • Always wash your hands before and after applying makeup or using skincare products

  • Do not share makeup with anybody, as this can lead to cross infection
